Hypnosis refers to a state or condition in which a person becomes highly responsive to suggestions. The hypnotized individual seems to follow instructions in an uncritical, automatic fashion and attends closely only to those aspects of the environment made relevant by the hypnotist. Memory and awareness of self can be altered by suggestions given to the hypnotized person.

HOW IT WORKS
This program is conducted over a four week period but can be adjusted for personal sessions for what the client requires (if client is doing well, sessions will be put off until required so long is the client is losing weight).
The four one-hour sessions are designed to bring about a permanent change in your eating habits, and focus on the person that you want to be. This is not a short-term fix as creating new habits - to get you where you want to be and enable you to remain there - will generally take 28 days.
The program includes a support CD that you are asked to listen to on a daily basis, which will reinforce the new messages that will bring about a permanent change in your eating behavior. You will also receive a personalized CD at the end of the program.
The program uses non-surgical techniques using hypnosis to retrain the client to be satisfied with smaller portions of food. Clinical hypnotherapy convinces the mind that the stomach is full after a smaller amount and there is no desire to eat more.
A Virtual Gastric Band is like "flicking a switch in the brain." It changes a person's attitude towards food and helps them regain control over cravings and bad habits.
